Your Companion

Your Companion is a little creature that lives in your community and holds you between sessions with your coach — a soft blob with two eyes that rests when you're idle and perks up when you need it.

To chat: click the creature at the bottom of the sidebar, or use the little Companion tab that sticks up from the bottom-center of any page. The chat opens centered at the bottom of the screen as a light, frosted panel — it reads like a clean transcript (You / your Companion's name above each line), so it stays easy on the eye and never crowds the page. Drag the top edge to resize, or use the expand button (top-right of the chat) to pop it to a larger focused view and back. Everything you say is saved.

The first time you arrive, your Companion says a quick hello in this larger view — just close it or start typing and it tucks back into its tab at the bottom of the screen.

Your chats & folders: click Companion in the sidebar to open the Companion window. It shows your full chat history filed into folders by activity (Courses, Feed, and so on), plus your community's announcements. Open any past chat to pick it back up, or start a New chat.

What it's for

  • A steady check-in — somewhere to think out loud between sessions.
  • It remembers you — your milestones, intentions, and reflections, so you never have to start from scratch.
  • It points you to the work — your coach's own courses and material, not generic advice.

How to use it

Open Companion from the sidebar and type what's on your mind. Ask for a nudge, talk through a stuck point, or just mark where you are today. Replies are short and grounded — it's a conversation, not an essay.

Reflecting together

At natural moments — after a lesson or a win, or when you're working something out — the Companion may offer one gentle journaling prompt ("what's alive for you right now?"). There's never pressure to answer. When you do share a real reflection or intention, it quietly keeps it as part of your journey, so it shows up in your reflections and the Companion remembers it next time. You can turn memory off anytime (see below), and everything stays private to you and your coach.

What it won't do

  • It doesn't replace your coach. For anything heavy, personal, or clinical, it will gently point you back to your coach or a professional.
  • It only reads your own progress and memory to help you — it never acts on your behalf or messages anyone for you.

Your privacy

Everything the Companion remembers about you is yours to see, and every interaction is logged so your coach's community stays accountable. Nothing you share is used to message you automatically.
