Website builder

Build and publish your own marketing pages — no code needed. Open Dashboard → Site.

The website builder is part of higher plans. If you don't see Site in your dashboard menu, it isn't enabled on your plan yet — reach out and we'll switch it on.

Create a page

  1. Go to Dashboard → Site.
  2. Type a page title (e.g. About) and click Add page. We turn the title into a tidy web address — /about.
  3. Start with a Home page; add as many others as you like.

Your home page. Name a page home and, once published, it becomes the front page of your community's address (yourname.hook.coach) — replacing the default welcome screen. Until you publish a home page, the default screen stays.

A few names are reserved (like login, feed, dashboard) so your pages never collide with the rest of your community.

Edit a page

Click any page to open the visual editor. It's drag-and-drop:

  • Pick blocks from the left and drop them onto the page.
  • Edit content in the right-hand panel — headings, text, buttons, images.
  • Reorder by dragging blocks up and down.

Blocks available today:

BlockWhat it's for
HeroA big headline, supporting line, and a call-to-action button.
HeadingA section title (H1/H2/H3).
TextA paragraph or two of copy.
ImageA picture — upload one (up to 8MB) or paste an image URL.
ButtonsOne or two call-to-action links.
SpacerBreathing room between sections.

Every block follows your brand automatically — your colors and fonts, no fiddling.

Custom code (advanced plans)

On higher plans, a Custom code block appears in the palette. Paste your own HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (e.g. an embed, widget, or form) and set its height. For safety, your code runs in an isolated sandbox — it shows on your page but can't read or change the rest of your site. If you don't see this block, it isn't enabled on your plan.

Bespoke blocks (custom design)

Some communities have a custom-designed block set built for their brand (their own hero, feature, and section blocks). These appear in the palette automatically when they're enabled for your community — there's nothing to install. Ask us if you'd like a bespoke set built for yours.

Publish

Click Publish in the editor to make your latest edits live. Your drafts are saved as you work; publishing is the moment they go public.

Once published, a page is live on your community's address at its slug — e.g. yourname.hook.coach/about. Visitors don't need an account to see it. Edits you haven't published yet stay private until you hit Publish again.

A page only goes public after you publish it. Reserved names (login, feed, dashboard, …) are blocked so your pages never clash with the app.

Bespoke themes (white-label tenants)

Most communities build their public site with the drag-and-drop builder above. For white-label / Own-tier tenants, Hook can also render your site through a bespoke, hand-coded theme — a fully custom layout the builder can't express, still managed inside Hook and fed by your community's own name, brand color, and copy. This is set up for you by the Hook team (it's deployed code, not self-serve); a code theme takes precedence over a builder-made home page. Ask us if you want one.
